Chapter 1- Reproduction In Organism

Biological explanation of reproduction

Reproduction helps the species to ensure their existence in the world. The inevitable process of reproduction includes two major types that are the sexual and asexual reproduction. The study of the reproduction in an organism is included in the curriculum of class 12th.

ScoreX™ ensures that you learn all concepts in the course of the Class 12 Biology Ch-1 Reproduction in Organism.

What is the format of this chapter course?

In the course of the Biology class 12 ncert solutions chapter 1, you get to learn about all the relevant topics in detail.

1. Asexual Reproduction

Asexual reproduction is a process that includes the fission of the cells. The cell splits into one or more in order to create same copies of the organism. The asexual reproduction is found in single-celled as well as several multiple cellular organisms.

2. Sexual Reproduction

Sexual reproduction requires the genetic information of two different organisms of the same kind. This procedure gives rise to a new organism that includes the properties of the parent genes. This process requires multiple steps through which a new life becomes a part of the species. The pre-fertilization starts the process, which leads to the fertilization. After the fertilization, the process of growth starts. All the steps are discussed in detail.
